Why did you join the care industry?
I joined the care industry because I’ve always felt a deep calling to help others live with dignity, comfort, and joy — especially during times when they need it most. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being part of someone’s daily life, offering not just practical support but emotional reassurance too.
For me, it’s not just a job — it’s about building trust, forming genuine connections, and making a real difference. Whether it’s helping someone maintain their independence, being a listening ear, or simply sharing a smile, those moments matter. They remind me why I chose this path: to be a source of kindness and strength in someone else’s journey.
What would you say to someone who wanted to join the care industry?

Why did you join the care industry?
I’ve always been someone who genuinely cares for others, and now that my children are grown, it feels like the perfect time to step into a caregiving role. I want to end each shift with the comfort of knowing I’ve brightened at least one person’s day.
What would you say to someone who wanted to join the care industry?
I’d absolutely encourage anyone to go for it. Taking the leap into the care industry was one of the best decisions I’ve made—I’m genuinely happy in my job now. I look forward to going to work, meeting incredible people, hearing their amazing stories, and feeling truly appreciated every day.
What do you enjoy about working for Premier Community Care?
I love working for Premier because every day brings something new. I get to support clients in maintaining their independence and staying comfortably in their own homes, which is incredibly rewarding. At the end of each shift, I go home with a real sense of satisfaction, knowing I’ve made a difference. I’m genuinely happy in my role and actually look forward to going to work. Plus, the team in the office is amazing—always ready to help and incredibly supportive.

51 – Administrations Manager at Premier Community Care
I’ve proudly been part of Premier Community Care for over 10 years. My journey began as a carer, where I found deep fulfilment in supporting individuals within their own homes and delivering truly person-centred care. My passion for helping others led me to become a Team Leader, where I supported and guided our care staff.
From there, I transitioned into a Reception/Admin role, where I welcomed clients and carers with a smile and ensured smooth communication and support from the office. Today, I serve as the Administrations Manager, leading a dedicated team that provides essential administrative support to our busy office.
Although my role has evolved, my heart remains in care. I continue to support our clients in the community whenever I can, staying connected to the work that first inspired me.
One of the most memorable moments in my role was recently supporting a service user at a Tea and Technology event. We spent hours chatting about her life, career, family, and sharing funny stories. It reminded me why I love what I do—helping someone get out, meet new people, and experience something new is incredibly rewarding.
