Community Wellbeing & Support Services

13 August 2025

At Premier Community Care we believe that care is more than just practical support—it’s about fostering connection, promoting wellbeing, and building a stronger, more inclusive community.

Working in partnership with Durham County Council, local charities, colleges, and the NHS, we offer services that not only support individuals in their homes but also bring the community to them. Through our community outreach initiatives and volunteer programmes, we help reduce isolation and ensure that everyone—regardless of ability—has the opportunity to engage, communicate, and feel valued.

Our volunteers play a vital role in this mission. Whether it’s offering companionship, assisting with social visits, or simply being a friendly face, they help our clients stay connected to the world around them. These interactions have a profound impact, improving mental health, boosting confidence, and creating a sense of belonging.

We actively promote mental wellbeing by encouraging meaningful social contact, organizing inclusive activities, and listening to the voices of those we support. Every care plan is tailored not just to physical needs, but to emotional and social wellbeing too.

If you are passionate about making a difference—whether you’re looking for care, want to volunteer, or are interested in partnering with us—we’d love to hear from you. Together, we can build a community where no one feels alone, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
